“牙周病是多因素引起的牙周组织慢性炎症病变，对怀孕女性非常不利。”广州医科大学口腔医院东风西院区主任罗刚告诉记者，怀孕的女性如果是孕早期， 发现了有牙病，使用药物会受到限制，而且不能拔牙，怕诱发流产，“因此，最好在计划怀孕前就提前来看牙，把所有牙齿疾病先处理好，该消炎的消炎，该拔掉的及时处理掉，否则一旦怀孕再发现有牙周病，牙周病病情会加重，还可能诱发早产。”他表示，根据牙病防治杂志的相关研究，患有牙周病的孕妇早产几率比健康孕 妇会高出很多倍，因此要及时引起注意。
