修真者，借假修真也。道教中，学道修行，求得真我，去伪存真为“修真”。 修真之名，古已有之，俗曰修道。它囊括了动以化精、炼精化炁、炼炁化神、炼神还虚、还虚合道、位证真仙的全部修持过程。何谓真？真乃真人之业位，真乃真仙，不是自封标榜，实乃空间上界所封也。真人乃修道人的最高境界，修持者均应胸怀大志，高瞻远瞩，终生勤奋，刻苦修持，德功并进，以求达到真人、真仙的上乘境界，故曰修真。
