新华社电 丹麦哥本哈根大学的研究人员发现，聪明的男士，步入中年后更容易保持好身材。研究涉及2848名48岁至56岁丹麦男性。

研究人员对他们进行了一系列测试，包括平衡、起坐姿势转换、握力等，发现初成年阶段智力评估分数越高的研究对象，背部、腿部和手掌力量越强，而且平衡能力也好。

研究人员在由《衰老与健康杂志》发表的报告中写道，更强的力量令人能轻松保持积极、活跃的生活，更容易保有好身材。
